Role Responsibilities
A Childcare Practitioner with an outdoor focus, as in forest/outdoor education, plans and supervises nature-based play, manages outdoor risks, and fosters environmental exploration.
The Role
To report all areas of concern to the team leader/manager
To participate in themed days within the crèche when needed
To ensure the provision of a quality service to children and parents
To co‑operate with Park Academy TUSLA Early Years Inspectors
To work as part of a team and liaise with other team members & team leaders
To come up with new ideas and activities to encourage learning with the children
To liaise with parents/guardians of the children and keep them informed of their children's day
Please note, applications will only be accepted for those who hold a Degree/Qualification in Childcare or related Discipline.
Working Hours
40 hours per week – Crèche opening hours are from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday - Friday and shifts are up to 8 hours in duration and will be confirmed by Management.
Required Qualifications
All applicants must have minimum QQI / FETAC Level 5. All other qualifications must be recognised by the DCYA.
All applicants must be eligible to work full time in Ireland.

Additional experience and qualifications are highly desirable.
Garda Vetting (and international police clearance if having lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months) will also be required.
