Electrification Manager Position Overview
This senior role is accountable for managing the company's involvement in the electricity market. The Electrification Manager will oversee key activities, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Timeline Management: Maintain awareness of relevant timelines and work towards meeting them to support the company's goals.
* Documentation Preparation: Submit regulatory and market-related documentation, applications, auction submissions, and tender responses to meet objectives.
* Team Coordination: Collaborate with commercial and field operations teams to engage clients, install equipment, and meet market timelines and volume commitments.
* Market Unit Management: Manage registration, de-registration, and modifications to electricity market units as required by the business.
* Pre-Testing Documentation: Prepare and submit pre-testing documentation as needed by system/market operators.
* Compliance Testing: Execute compliance testing and prepare test reports for system/market operators and stakeholders.
* Portfolio Management: Liaise with business units to manage the portfolio effectively, ensuring compliance with electricity market obligations and maximizing benefits achieved.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Foster good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Regulatory Inquiries: Handle day-to-day queries from regulators and system operators, preparing reports and analyses in response, including financial insights where required.
* Representative Role: Represent the business at various forums related to the team's functions at a domestic and international level.
