Family Law ParalegalWe are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal with at least 2+ years of experience in a family law firm in the U.S. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling case management, legal research, and client communication efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Handle client communication via phone, email, or in person regarding divorce, custody, support, and visitation matters.Draft legal documents such as petitions, declarations, discovery responses, parenting plans, and judgments.File court documents electronically or physically, ensuring compliance with local and state court procedures.Maintain and update client records, case notes, and document databases.Assist attorneys with preparation for hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.Coordinate scheduling of court dates, client meetings, depositions, and expert consultations.Prepare and review financial disclosures, child/spousal support worksheets, and property division spreadsheets.Conduct legal research on family law statutes, case law, and court rules.Perform administrative tasks: case calendaring, deadline tracking, document formatting, and file management.Requirements:Minimum 2+ years of experience in a family law firmStrong knowledge of family law procedures (divorce, custody, support, restraining orders, etc.)Proficiency in legal software and document management systems (MyCase, Clio, PracticePanther).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with sensitive client mattersHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlinesAbility to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
