This position is funded bythe European Unionand is available from08/06/26to contract end date of31/11/26.
Responsibilities
The positions have been created to provide dedicated medical coverage for participants enrolled in the COUNTERACT SIS-02 Phase 1 clinical trial - a first-in-human study evaluating the safetyand tolerability of an inhaled small molecule anti-pathogendrug.

The HRB Clinical Research Facility Galway (HRB CRFG) is a joint venture between Galway University Hospitals,SaoltaUniversity Health Care Group, and University of Galway.
Established in ****, we provide the infrastructure,expertise, and culture needed to support high-quality bioscience research and clinical trials.
We focus on translating research into regulatory-approved advances in patient care, supporting Phase 1 safety studies, Phase 2 efficacy trials, and Phase 3 multi-centre studies.
Our experienced team works in collaboration with academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and research organizations nationally and internationally.

The HRB Clinical Research Facility Galway currently has the following vacancies:
Research Assistant (Phase 1 Clinical Trial - Medical Cover) - 2 x up to 1.0 FTE posts
These positions have been created to provide dedicated medical coverage for participants enrolled in the COUNTERACT SIS-02 Phase 1 clinical trial - a first-in-human study evaluating the safetyand tolerability of an inhaled small molecule anti-pathogendrug.
