We are looking for Sales Specialist, High Voltage Switchgear and Transformers Products to join our team.
The opportunity
As a Sales Specialist, you will drive sales of High Voltage Switchgear and Transformers Products, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets. You will build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and ensure a seamless sales process aligned with Hitachi Energy's strategy.
Your responsibilities:
1. Sales & Profitability: Assist in driving sales by promoting transformer and High Voltage Switchgear products, ensuring optimal volume and profitability.
2. Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions for a positive experience.
3. Sales Planning: Create and manage sales plans using internal tools; monitor progress and implement recovery strategies when needed.
4. Value Creation: Use effective sales techniques to ensure successful deals, aligning proposals with company offerings and terms.
5. Marketing & Promotion: Support marketing efforts and communicate value propositions effectively to customers.
6. Market Development: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
7. Sales Administration: Handle administrative tasks, support collections, and assist with project management as required.
8. Offer Management: Prepare competitive offers in coordination with internal teams, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; or suitable relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in the electrical industry and front-end roles within the High Voltage market, including sales or sales management.
- Strong technical foundation with a degree or relevant qualification; deep knowledge of the electrical industry, customer segments, and Hitachi Energy's offerings.
- Skilled in managing multiple quotes simultaneously, with a focus on customer communication and timely updates.
- Demonstrated ability to develop client-focused solutions, drive new business creatively, and deliver results in a competitive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, negotiation, presentation, and both verbal and written communication.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a results-driven setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce; capable of motivating and delegating within a team to execute tasks effectively.
- Full clean Irish Drivers license
