Job Title: Plant Maintenance Leader
A highly skilled and experienced maintenance professional is required to lead our plant's engineering function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment and maintaining high levels of plant reliability.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned engineer to take on a leadership role within our organization. As a Plant Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading a team of engineers and contractors to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment.
2. Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve equipment longevity.
3. Overseeing the management of maintenance budgets and resources, including labor, materials, and external services.
4. Coordinating with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to ensure alignment and seamless communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Manage a team of engineers and contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address these opportunities.
• Analyze data and metrics to measure maintenance effectiveness and identify areas for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies related to maintenance and engineering activities.
Requirements:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced maintenance leader who possesses the following skills and qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering or maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Time-served or third-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Strong knowledge of planned maintenance systems, engineering best practices, and reliability strategies.
• Proven ability to manage large engineering teams and external contractors effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and other maintenance management software applications.
