Job Opportunity: Assistant Accountant
This established organisation within the construction supply industry is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will work alongside the company accountant and Financial Controller on a daily basis in an office-based role.
The job entails tasks including:
* Monthly accounts production to review stage
* RCT (Receipts and Payments account)
* Revenue management
* Cash-flow analysis and reporting
* Accounts Payable
* Credit control
* Reconciliations
* Budget and forecasting
* Financial analysis
To be considered for this position, applicants should have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with exposure to the aforementioned duties
* Strong accounts preparation and budget knowledge
* Experience in the construction industry is not required but may be beneficial
* Part Qualification - ACCA / CIMA or similar desired but not mandatory
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and take on additional responsibilities when required
* A valid driving licence and own transport, as the office is located rurally
