We are a quality focused company using cutting edge technology and pioneering innovation.We are currently recruiting for the role of Production Planner.This role requires the Production Planner to actively contribute to the management and development of the site Planning and Materials Supply systems in a progressive manner.The Production Planner's primary responsibility is to plan and schedule raw material in and out of the factory and to ensure all products required by customers are planned and co-ordinated to be procured, manufactured, shipped, and delivered to our customer's on-time.Key responsibilities:Plan and Schedule Raw Material in and out of the factoryDevelop detailed production schedules and optimize use of all capacities in each stage of the Supply Chain ProcessInteract with sales to understand demand forecast drivers and to ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecastsLead the planning meetings to review, reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast modelManage, coordinate and plan all production materials and services for the organisation, ensuring that the supply needs are in time and quality and GMP compliance are metLiaise with internal departments to prepare weekly production, purchasing and logistics schedules and ensure that targets are metLiaise with the logistics to ensure thorough management, review and execution of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, vendor scheduling, inventory reporting and inventory positioningAdvance and maintain CSB and reports to proactively improve material supply and information to ProductionManage stock to ensure no loss through out-of-date stockKey Competencies and Skills required for Role:Strong working knowledge of leading Planning, Logistics & Procurement Tools, Processes, Methods and Reporting Techniques.Strong numeracy skills with accurate data analysis and reporting. Ability to collate and analyse large amounts of data in a methodical and structured manner.Advanced Excel userStrong inter-personal, influencing and presentation skills. Ability to conduct and lead meetings effectively across various functions.Able to work on own initiative with strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilityAbility to deliver in a fast paced, flexible and results focused environmentProficient in Microsoft Office suite of products and other related software packages with the ability to improve an ERP system to ensure it meets the planning functionJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
