Role Profile Located in Ballyragget, this role reports to Site Process Technical Team manager, this role is responsible for the optimisation of plant performance through ongoing development and improvements in plant process and automated systems.
The Process Manager will support the Plant Operations teams in the delivery of Plant KPIs and will aid the plant in any improvement projects.
Tirln, Ballyragget consists of the following processes Cheese, Butter, Milk proteins and whey powder production.
Responsibilities Promote & implement Best Practice Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Provide technical help in problem solving day to day issues with the other members of the Process Technical team and with the plant operations team.
Engage with stakeholders including Quality and Production teams in the prioritisation,development, design and testing of new or enhanced processes Demonstrates good working knowledge of DMAIC tools and applies these tools in the characterisation, optimisation and troubleshooting of process equipment and technology performance Work with the Production team to plan and execute agreed changes Monitor MES KPI data for individual processes including reporting and trending of data Utilise data insights to recommend interventions to drive performance Troubleshootissues and identifyopportunities to enhance plant performance and drive KPI improvement Requirements Third Level Degree in Food Science, Engineering or Processing Discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Food Manufacturing or Pharma based organisation Data Monitoring: Skills in monitoring MES KPI data for individual processes, including reporting and trending of data.
Data Utilisation: Ability to utilise data insights to recommend interventions that drive performance.
Troubleshooting: Proactive in troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities to enhance plant performance and drive KPI improvement.
Information Handling: Proficiency in managing and utilizing information effectively.
Motivation: The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and self-driven, with exceptional influencing skills.
Problem-Solving: Proactive and innovative problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong analytical and IT skills.
Lean Manufacturing: Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, or product development.
A Six Sigma qualification is highly desirable.
