Job Summary:
A leading manufacturer of disinfection products seeks a Purchasing & Planning Manager to oversee production planning, raw materials procurement, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for production planning, raw materials planning/ordering, and inventory management.
* Manage plant supply chain activities with a focus on achieving targeted OTIF (On-Time in Full) for customer deliveries.
* Balance financial targets, production targets, and customer service requirements.
* Order raw materials and ensure timely delivery to production departments.
* Monitor and control key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTIF, schedule adherence, inventory DOH, and lead time.
* Lead and develop the Planning and Supply Chain teams.
* Manage inventory levels and build an agile supply chain approach.
* Close cooperation with Production and Quality departments to ensure high customer service levels.
* Carry out capacity planning and modeling to identify pinch points and take required actions.
* Build a local S&OP process to guide site operations.
* Create reports and analysis to support budget reviews and planning meetings.
* Support R&D activities, new product introductions, and product rationalization initiatives.
* Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or engineering.
* Experience in sales and operational planning systems.
* Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
* Design and application knowledge of MS Nav and Oracle supply chain tools.
* Supply chain optimisation along the product lifecycle.
