Job Title: Mental Health Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health specialist to join our community adult mental health team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic interventions for adults presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a positive impact in the lives of service users and contribute to the development of mental health programmes and pathways within the service.
The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, including comprehensive psychological assessments, individual and group-based therapeutic interventions, and consultation and psychological input to colleagues.
In addition, they will be able to engage effectively in risk assessment and management, maintain high standards of clinical documentation, and participate in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will also be required to engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and clinical supervision, and commit to service user-centred, recovery-oriented practice.
* A Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
* Eligibility for professional registration with the relevant body.
* Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment and evidence-based therapeutic interventions with adults presenting with a broad range of mental health difficulties.
* Strong clinical formulation and therapeutic planning skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously where required.
