ICT Project Officer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled ICT Project Officer to join their team.
The duration of this post is 6 months initially with possible extensions thereafter.
This role will be Flexible/Hybrid Working.
The successful candidate must be able to attend client sites as required in Dublin 20.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €31.39 per hour based on an annualised salary of €57,325.
You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Key Objectives: Engaging with vendor and local site teams to finalise deployment plans, ensuring alignment with client strategies.
Achieving measurable benefits such as reduced waitlist times, improved clinician access to data, and enhanced compliance with national KPIs.
Role & Responsibilities: Support the Community Connect team in the discovery, mobilisation and deployment phases of the programme.
Broad stakeholder engagement with regular interactions at national and regional level.
Assistance with creation and upkeep of project planning artefacts.
Project Officers may be allocated to a workstream in the programme and aligned project tasks.
This is to ensure efficient use and maximisation of resource expertise and availability for the duration of the contract.
Skills & Experience: A track record of 3+ years successfully supporting the delivery of projects within an organisation, preferably (but not necessarily) for healthcare and this must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
Experience of project planning, report development, RAID and RACI management along with other project management tools.
Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
Clinical experience or experience working within clinical teams would be an advantage.
Business Competencies: Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present information in a confident and logical manner.
Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects are maximised.
An ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Good ICT, administration, presentation and report writing skills.
Demonstrates and ability to support the development and delivery of a project plan.
Ability to work with the other project or programme units to ensure that projects are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner.
Demonstrate ability to support the implementation and management of change and business process re-organisation skills.
Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services.
Demonstrates an ability to perform various business analysis activities as deemed necessary for the project.
Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility.
