Please note:This is a Part Time Role -2.5 days on site per week. Days & Hours of work are flexible, however, candidate should ideally be available to work every Monday. This role reports directly to the Owner of the business and supports the Store Manager in his/her duties.Main purpose of the role:Maintain and enhance the store's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programmes and practices.The ideal candidate will have/be:2 years experience in a relevant positionCIPD qualification is desirableExcellent communication skills & ability to have both motivating and difficult conversationsGood delegation skillsHighly driven with a strong work ethicSelf Motivated and ability to work on own initiativeAn understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targetsCommerciality and brand awarenessPassion for grocery retailThrive in a fast-paced working environment.Main duties:Be the first point of contact for all people issues in the businessActively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and ImaginativeEnsure optimum employment levels through appropriate recruitment and selection proceduresManage the probation process in storeManage absence, timekeeping and return to work processDevelop appropriate personal training and development plans are in place for each employeePromote a harmonious working atmosphere in store through proactive employee communication and problem resolutionEnsure the store is compliant with relevant legislation and implement procedures as requiredEnsure that all employees receive an induction and initial and on-going trainingDocument and record all internal and external trainingSupport the Store Manager in managing colleague issues and requestsMeet with the Store Owner weekly with a structured review of the previous weekMaintain employee attendance, holiday and leave recordsComplete the weekly roster in line with the weekly budgetsWhen necessary, implement the Grievance and Disciplinary polices correctlyEnsure that all customer service programmes and procedures are in place and provide appropriate training as requiredJob Type: Part-timePay: From €20,000.00 per yearExpected hours: 20 per weekBenefits:FlexitimeOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
