As a Senior Electrical Technician, you will help fulfill this mission by managing our power electronics research laboratory and facilitating the assembly and testing of advanced power electronics prototypes, and you will do so in a collaborative environment. The team is an international group of talented, passionate, and knowledgeable power electronics experts.

And no, you don’t need to come from aerospace to work in our Electrical Systems team. We can work with your power electronics skills and give you an applied background in aerospace systems and propulsion architectures.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Manage scheduling, inventory, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment, tools, and resources.
* Perform environmental health and safety assessments on laboratory projects, ensuring safety and compliance.
* Fabricate and assemble power electronic assemblies and test setups.
* Perform electrical and functional testing of power electronic prototypes.
* Build and modify printed circuit board assemblies.
* Oversee laboratory upgrades and recommend future improvements.


Qualifications and Required Skills

* Associate/bachelor degree or equivalent vocational training with 4 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with high-voltage (up to 1 kVdc) and kW-class electrical circuits and rotating machines.
* Interest or experience in environmental health and safety in research facilities.
* Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and specifications.
* Applied knowledge in circuit board soldering, wire harness fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
* Motivated self-starter with enthusiasm to learn and adapt.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills for international teamwork.
