About the Role
We are looking for
capital project practitioners
to join our Infrastructure & Capital Projects (I&CP) team in Ireland.
We are seeking professionals with broad experience and knowledge of capital project across the lifecycle, with skills that will help our clients' projects perform.
This includes areas such as:
project controls, cost management, planning & scheduling, risk and the ability to setup, design and delivery interventions.
As Industry X, we digitise, optimise and transform our clients' traditional ways of delivering throughout the project lifecycle!
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on project controls using industry and regional expertise.
Deliver clear, data-driven reports and proposals to senior stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across all levels, contributing to coaching and development within the team.
Use analytics to drive decisions and improve operational performance.
Support digital transformation of capital projects to unlock value.
Shape and deliver future operating models, processes, and technologies.
Lead or support sales activities, from solution design to client presentations.
We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates with experience in project controls and transformation within asset- and energy-intensive industries such as:
Facilities construction (hospitals, data centres)
Energy, utilities (water, power, nuclear), chemicals
Infrastructure and networks (road & rail, telecoms, construction services)
You'll bring:
Hands-on experience in project controls disciplines—schedule, cost, risk, and change management—on large, complex capital projects
Familiarity with tools like Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, Oracle Unifier, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Trimble ViewPoint, or similar
A track record of delivering complex projects to time, cost, and quality standards in client-facing roles
Ability to support or lead transformation programmes, including solution design and implementation planning
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work as a team member or lead delivery teams
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Bonus points if you have:
Education in Civil Engineering or related area
Professional qualifications (e.g. APM, PMI, PRINCE2)
Experience in consulting, business development, or RFP responses
Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and their application in capital projects
Workshop facilitation and design thinking capabilities
Experience in organisational change management and operating model design
Strong industry network and client relationships
