Role Overview
The
Digital Media and Business Development Manager
will play a key role in enhancing Vardis Group's market presence and driving new business opportunities. This position combines strategic digital marketing expertise with a proactive business development mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating the company's brand visibility across digital platforms, managing targeted campaigns, and identifying growth opportunities through research, outreach, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Media & Marketing
* Develop and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with Vardis Group's business objectives.
* Manage content creation and distribution across the company website, LinkedIn, newsletters, and other relevant platforms.
* Drive SEO, paid campaigns, and analytics to increase online visibility and lead generation.
* Oversee brand consistency and positioning across all digital channels.
* Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports, and optimise campaigns based on insights.
Business Development
* Research, identify, and pursue new client opportunities within target markets.
* Support senior leadership in developing tailored pitches, proposals, and client presentations.
* Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospects through outreach and relationship-building.
* Leverage digital campaigns and thought leadership content to nurture leads and generate new business.
* Collaborate with consultants and partners to align business development activities with sector priorities.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in digital marketing and/or business development, ideally within professional services, executive search, consulting, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of digital tools including LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and CRM systems.
* Excellent communication and content development skills.
* Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business growth.
* Data-driven, strategic thinker with strong project management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master's or professional certifications a plus).
* 5+ years of relevant experience in digital media and/or business development.
