Position: Day Time Duty ManagerReports to: General Manager / Bar ManagerCrown Quarter are currently recruiting for a Day Time Duty Manager to join our experienced and energetic team. This role is focused on overseeing food service operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality experience, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate must be available to work midweek and weekends, covering opening and daytime shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership: Manage day-to-day food service operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout breakfast and lunch periods.Guest Experience: Maintain the highest standards of customer service, ensuring all guests receive a warm welcome and a memorable dining experience.Team Supervision: Lead and support front-of-house and food service teams, ensuring a positive and professional working environment.Service Standards: Ensure all operational and hygiene standards are consistently met across the venue.Food Quality & Presentation: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely service, excellent presentation, and consistency in food quality.Staff Training: Assist in training and developing team members to maintain excellent service standards.Cash Handling: Manage cashing up, till operations, and daily financial procedures accurately.Opening Procedures: Oversee morning setup, including preparation of service areas and readiness checks for the day's operations.Communication: Liaise effectively between front-of-house, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.Candidate RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.Food Operations: Strong background in restaurant or food-led service operations.Leadership: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and support a team.Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.Organisation: Excellent planning and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Flexibility: Must be available to work midweek and weekends, covering opening and day shifts.Why Work with Us?As part of the Crown Quarter team, you'll enjoy:Meals on dutyDiscounted accommodation rates in our sister hotels.Ongoing training and professional developmentCompany eventsChristmas Savings Scheme
