As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Service Desk Administrator to join our team and act as a vital link between our service engineers, management, and valued clients.
The Role
In this role, you will be the engine room of our service department. You will support the Service Desk Team and Management by managing the lifecycle of work activities—from initial logging to final invoicing. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all engineering reports are accurate, costs are captured, and documentation is seamless, providing essential back-office support to Management, Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Field Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for field engineers and subcontractors via phone and email.
* Report Management: Review and edit work reports submitted by engineers for accuracy, ensuring all times, hours, and Purchase Orders (POs) align.
* Data Conversion: Convert subcontractor reports into our standardized Medimec format and ensure all relevant documentation is attached to service calls.
* Observation Tracking: Identify and log technical observations from the field that require follow-up quotations.
Desired Criteria
* Experience: 2+ years in a fast-paced administrative or service-desk role.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong PC skills, specifically in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
* Communication: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical staff and clients.
* Operational Skills: Previous experience in scheduling, purchasing, or logistics is highly advantageous.
* Adaptability: Highly organized with the ability to remain flexible and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
