Within the Servisource umbrella, our Autism Assessment Centre is dedicated to providing exceptional diagnostic services as part of the Assessment of Need and Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.
As our department continues to grow nationwide and expand into new clinical areas, we are now seeking an experienced and driven Senior Psychologist to join our national team in a strategic clinical leadership role.
About the Role
* Permanent, full-time position
* Flexible hybrid model with a mix of in-clinic and remote working
* Conduct high-quality assessments, including ADOS-2, ADI-R and cognitive evaluations
* Provide clear clinical formulations, diagnostic decisions, and high-standard written reports
* Deliver structured, supportive feedback to families and ensure appropriate onward referrals
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to establish differential diagnoses
* Supervise trainee psychologists through structured six-month training cycles (induction, clinical shadowing, and report review)
* Support internal audit processes and align clinical work with HSE quality frameworks
* Contribute to the design and implementation of Adult, ADHD and post-diagnostic support pathways
* Lead or support clinical governance reviews and service improvement projects
* Act as a senior point of contact for complex clinical decision-making
* Collaborate with the management team to support team development and service sustainability
* Contribute to the onboarding and support of new psychology staff
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out diagnostic assessments and clinical formulations for children and young people, with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions
* Oversee assessment planning, report writing, and family communication, ensuring clear, compassionate, and timely delivery
* Provide clinical supervision to trainee psychologists and junior team members, fostering a culture of reflective learning and professional growth
* Maintain high standards of documentation, ensuring records are accurate, secure, and aligned with clinical and legal standards
* Contribute actively to service reviews, audit processes, and the refinement of clinical pathways and internal procedures
* Take a proactive, solution-focused approach to improving service quality, accessibility, and family experience
* Support the service's governance and compliance with internal policies and wider sector standards
Essential Requirements
* A postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
* A university degree (Level 8 QQI equivalent) with Psychology as the major subject and honours obtained in that subject
* A minimum of five years' post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist, with no more than three years spent completing the postgraduate qualification
* At least 60 days of supervised clinical experience in relevant health settings (e.g., child/adult disability, autism, ADHD, or mental health), obtained during training or post-qualification
* Demonstrated experience in delivering diagnostic assessments using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and cognitive measures (e.g., WISC-V)
* Experience supervising trainee psychologists, assistant psychologists, or students in a clinical setting
* Strong clinical assessment, formulation, therapeutic planning, and communication skills
* Knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions and commitment to neuroaffirmative, evidence-informed practice
* Ability to work independently, manage a varied caseload, and adapt to service needs
* Full, clean driving licence and access to transport (for occasional travel to clinic locations)
* Eligible to work in Ireland at the time of application

Salary & Remuneration
* Competitive salary: €97,528 – €107,699 DOE
* Travel and work-related expenses fully covered
