About the Job
The role is responsible for delivering asset development programmes within a commercial semi-state organisation. This encompasses project delivery management, design delivery and project services.
Responsibilities:
* Manage cost and variation issues relating to construction contracts and NSWC contracts.
* Provide estimation support to the quotation team for large network projects.
* Develop and manage reports to improve reporting capability and enable analysis.
* Coordinate cost engineering activities to ensure timely and accurate cost information.
* Support project delivery leads in developing control budgets and costs.
* Record financial transactions accurately and on time.
* Assist with development of pricing quotations for network connections.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Utilities, pharmaceutical or civil infrastructure experience.
* Quantity surveying qualification.
* 5+ years of experience working on project management, project controls, cost, scheduling, budget analysis, contract administration and change control estimating.
* Good understanding of design, procurement and construction management processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and seek direction as required.
* Ability to manage teams and build effective relationships.
