An exciting career exists for an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead a team at a leading retailer's distribution centre in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health and safety strategy across multiple sites.
As a key member of the management team, the appointed person will oversee the implementation of health and safety standards across all operational areas.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety, food safety, and trading legislation.
* Lead and manage a team of professionals operating across regions.
* Provide strategic direction for the implementation of company health and safety standards.
* Chair and lead working groups to promote best practices and consistency across the business.
* Oversee the company's response to enforcement actions or regulatory interventions within designated regions.
* Conduct investigations into accidents and incidents, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Coordinate reviews of national documentation to ensure alignment with Irish regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* NEBOSH Diploma qualified or holds a relevant degree level qualification in H&S or Environmental Health.
* Experience in managing and coaching a team of professionals.
* Ideally experience within Retail, Logistics or Food Safety.
* Strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation.
* A full driving licence is required.
