Business Development Manager
to drive growth across Munster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a strong network in the
Construction and/or Engineering sectors
to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the Construction and Engineering sectors.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
* Develop and execute strategic business development plans for key accounts.
* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with production and supply chain teams.
* Become an expert in the company's value proposition, products, and services to maximise upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
* Accurately update CRM and ERP systems with enquiries, quotes, and orders.
* Provide monthly performance reports to senior leadership.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
* Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Development role within the Construction or Engineering sectors.
* Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
* Collaborative team player with cross-functional communication skills.
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Professional, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
