Job Title:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Legal Secretary to support senior legal staff in managing administrative tasks and maintaining accurate legal documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized and efficient in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence effectively.
2. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates with minimal disruption.
3. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, letters, and reports accurately.
4. Organize and maintain physical and digital files in a secure manner.
5. Assist in filing legal documents with courts and government agencies promptly.
6. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times.
7. Support in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda.
8. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and case updates efficiently.
9. Coordinate travel arrangements and logistical support for legal staff as required.
Requirements:
* A minimum of Leaving Certificate with additional courses completed in legal studies or office administration is preferred.
* Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent typing skills are essential.
* Strong data entry and document management skills are also necessary.
