Key Responsibilities
* Support the creation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
* Analyse company financial performance against KPIs and operational metrics, identifying trends and variances.
* Monitor operational and infrastructure costs, including technology, licensing, and compliance expenses.
* Support treasury operations by reviewing expenses and initiating payments.
* Preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings required by the tax authorities.
* Assist in monitoring liquidity and capital adequacy metrics, especially those required by regulatory frameworks such as MiCAR.
* Provide financial data and reporting required for regulatory submissions, audits, and risk assessments.
* Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting and regulatory obligations.
* Assist with implementing financial controls relevant to crypto assets, including segregation of client funds and safeguarding assets.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior leadership and board-level reviews.
* Build dashboards and analytics summarizing financial and operational performance.
* Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, product development, and market expansion.
* Work with product and technology teams to understand cost drivers, new features, and platform economics.
* Collaborate with the CTO's team to understand infrastructure investment needs and cost
* optimization opportunities.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
* 3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning or related roles.
* Strong Excel/Sheets and financial modeling skills.
* Understanding of blockchain technology, crypto markets, or digital asset products.
* Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by the EU and Irish law (Companies Act 2014).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
* High integrity and commitment to compliance and risk management
* Language skill in Mandarin would be a plus.
