THE COMPANY:
Our client is a global market leader in the medical device and healthcare equipment sector, supplying premium-quality patient handling and mobility solutions to hospitals, community services and care providers. With a strong brand, an exceptional product pipeline and a reputation built on quality and reliability, they are expanding their leadership structure in Ireland and now require a senior commercial manager to drive growth and performance nationally.
THE ROLE:
This is a senior second-line management role, responsible for leading a national commercial team, covering the full Republic of Ireland. You will take ownership of managing key contracts, overseeing field-based account managers, rental specialists and clinical support staff, and ensuring commercial performance across all major customer groups. Your remit includes commercial strategy, tender oversight, revenue growth, coaching and development of the sales team, and ensuring high service levels across contracted accounts. This is a newly created role as part of a significant investment in the Irish market and offers genuine long-term progression within a global organisation.
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak with experienced commercial leaders who can demonstrate:
* 5+ years sales management experience within the medical devices or wider healthcare sector
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts, pricing and strategic accounts
* Confidence leading a field-based team and driving performance nationally
* Experience working with hospitals, community services or healthcare contracts
* Strong attention to detail, with experience supporting or overseeing tenders
* A strategic mindset with the ability to coach, mentor and grow a high-performing team
* You must be based in Leinster and commutable to Dublin several days per week.

€65,000-€70,000 base (DOE)
