Job Title
Purpose: The Assistant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Operations/General Manager to achieve effective and professional team management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Supervise daily activities in food and beverage outlets to ensure efficient and superior guest service.
* Department Management: Ensure the smooth running of the department and supervise Food and Beverage Assistants to maintain high standards.
* Rota Planning: Assist with preparation of weekly rotas and balance duties within the team.
* Customer Service: Greet guests warmly and professionally, familiarize yourself and the F&B team with product offerings, sales, and promotional activity. Upsell at every opportunity and serve Food and Beverage products efficiently according to company standards.
* Pre-Service Preparation: Ensure restaurants, bars, and Food & Beverage outlets are prepared and set-up prior to and after service.
* Cash Handling and Stock Control: Carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with company policy and assist with Stock Control.
The ideal candidate should have previous management experience (2 years), be self-motivated and confident in guest relations, able to prioritize and delegate work, provide training and support, and possess excellent customer service skills. They should also be standards driven, detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, flexible with regards to hours, and have a good command of the English Language.
