Company Accountant Full-Time | County Donegal | On-Site Role | Competitive Salary A well-established and growing business in County Donegal is seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join its finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of the finance function and to work closely with a forward-thinking business owner and leadership team.
The Opportunity Operating across multiple entities, the business is entering a further period of growth and requires a confident, commercially minded accountant to support its evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts for several entities within the group Ongoing cashflow forecasting and management of daily cashflow requirements Oversight of debtors and creditors, supported by the wider accounts team Ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, PAYE, Intrastat, etc.) Coordination of statutory audits and liaison with auditors and external advisors Maintaining strong working relationships with banks, insurers, and other stakeholders Developing and monitoring KPIs to support financial and operational performance Identifying cost-saving opportunities and contributing to group-wide efficiencies Supporting overall business strategy alongside the management team Supervising and developing members of the finance function Ensuring robust financial controls and reporting are in place to safeguard the business About You Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, ideally gained in a commercial or multi-entity environment Strong skills in management accounting, forecasting, and financial modelling Proficient in accounting systems (Sage Line 50 or above) and advanced Excel Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and relevant compliance areas Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, influence, and develop others Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment Whats on Offer Competitive salary reflective of experience A stable and progressive working environment The chance to work closely with a highly committed leadership team The opportunity to bring fresh ideas to an evolving and ambitious business If youre a proactive, solutions-focused accountant seeking a role where you can make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
