We have a great opportunity for a Qualified HGV Tech to join our business as a Workshop Controller at our DAF Baldonnellsite. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Service Manager you will work closely with the Service Manager and Service Administration team: Managing a team of Commercial Vehicle Master Technicians, Technicians and Apprentices Managing the flow of vehicles through the workshop reviewing and allocating jobs, discussing job requirements with team ensuring work is completed in a timely manner to manufacturer standards Liaising with the Service Team to manage the daily planning of vehicles through the workshop including reviewing and estimation of jobs for the customer Providing ongoing review and support of Diagnostics in line with manufacturer standards Responsible for Quality Control of the output from the workshop Liaising with service desk team, warranty team and customers where required on more complex technical jobs Managing the maintenance of high workshop utilisation, productivity and achievement of KPIs Ensuring high health and safety standards are maintained through all aspects of the workshop Keeping up to date with all manufacturer's standards and training and being fully prepared for manufacturer and industry performance and compliance audits.
