Job Title : EY IR Senior Manager
Service Line : Consulting
Location : Dublin, Ireland
Reports To : Director
Role Summary
Lead the EY Ireland Incident Response solution set across multiple clients and sectors; address immediate cyber requirements; support clients' IT teams in responding to cyber security events; provide leadership and mentorship; stay current with industry trends and recommend enhancements to existing processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and oversee incident response strategies and actions to ensure that cyber events are assessed, contained, mitigated, and reported.
Supervise the monitoring, analysis, and prioritization of security events, working closely with clients to keep them updated and informed.
Identify and recommend practical solutions and enhancements for complex challenges, including business and IT alignment in response to events.
Manage delivery and budgets while balancing quality client outcomes, timelines, and budget constraints.
Promote diversity and inclusiveness.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Experience with EDR technologies – Defender, CrowdStrike, Sentinel, etc.
Strong management skills to oversee multiple IR workstreams, timely delivery, adherence to budget, and organizational change.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with IT, security, and business teams, and present complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years in Incident Response domains and deep product understanding of CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
