I’m currently partnering with a large healthcare organisation to appoint a HR Generalist into their busy and collaborative People team.

The role would particularly suit someone coming from a healthcare, hospital, nursing home, care or wider regulated environment who enjoys a varied generalist role with a strong operational and administrative focus.
The Opportunity
You’ll join an experienced HR team supporting a large and diverse workforce, working closely with managers and employees across the organisation on a broad range of HR matters.
The role offers strong exposure across:
Employee Relations & case management
HR administration and employee lifecycle support
Onboarding, contracts and compliance documentation
Performance management & absence management
HR systems, reporting and record management
HR projects and process improvement initiatives
You’ll gain excellent exposure to operational HR while working alongside a supportive and experienced HR leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees
Support and manage employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
Prepare contracts, employee letters and HR documentation
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and ensure HR systems are kept up to date
Support payroll administration and HR reporting where required
Coordinate probation reviews, absence tracking and compliance documentation
Support recruitment coordination including interview scheduling and candidate communication
Assist with learning and development coordination including training administration, scheduling sessions and maintaining training records
Support employee engagement, induction and development initiatives across the organisation
Advise managers on HR policy and Irish employment legislation
Build strong relationships across the organisation
Support HR initiatives, projects and continuous improvement activities
Experience Required
2–4 years’ experience in a HR Generalist or HR Administrator role with strong operational exposure
Strong employee relations experience is essential
Ideally coming from healthcare, hospital, nursing home, care or another regulated environment
Strong understanding of Irish employment law
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Comfortable operating in a busy, fast-paced environment
Hands‑on, approachable and eager to continue learning and developing
