A leading Medical Supplies company in Meath is seeking a Key Account Manager.
The role involves selling products and services to customers, including individuals, businesses, and government organisations.
Job Description
To develop relationships with a portfolio of major clients and expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
* Develop trust relationships with major clients to prevent them from turning to competitors.
* Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
* Serve as the link between key customers and internal teams.
* Resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain trust.
* Generate new sales to create long-lasting relationships.
Cold calling potential customers, establishing customer needs, and selling products accordingly. This includes 25 telephone calls per day and contact with up to 10 leads/prospects weekly.
Acknowledge and follow up on sales enquiries within 24 hours and send information to customers.
Follow up on leads generated by other departments and work towards monthly sales and revenue targets set by the Sales Director.
Enter all required data for sales onto the company system, update Net Suite, and input customer information.
Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
Respond to incoming email, fax, and phone enquiries within 24 hours.
Negotiate agreement terms and close sales while overcoming objections to ensure customer satisfaction with Medguard customer service.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing networks, and benchmarking practices.
Requirements
Sales experience and ability to conduct 25+ calls daily.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work towards monthly sales and revenue targets.
Knowledge of the medical supplies industry.
