Purpose of the Post Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Placement Co-ordinator (CPC) will be on a Full Time Permanent contract.
The Clinical Placement Coordinator (CPC) as part of the Nurse Practice Development team is responsible for organising, managing, and supporting clinical placements for nursing students.
Experience and Qualifications Be registered in the Intellectual Disability Division of the Register of Nurses kept Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann (Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland).
Possess a 3rd level qualification at Level 8 (Honours degree) or higher.
Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 must be in a student learning environment.
Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

Salary: In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is Clinical Nurse Manager II,€62, 078 €78, 443 per annum (including LSI).
