The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team plays a vital role in operations – keeping essential machinery running smoothly.
Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces while adhering to Health and Safety best practices.
They will help ensure the safety of colleagues and prevent machine downtime.
The RME team enhances the availability and quality of equipment and works to improve the operational environment.
* Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on various site equipment
* Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
* Utilize the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
* Maintain all health and safety policies and practices
* Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites
A Day in the Life
Maintenance Technicians are based on-site, enabling them to respond quickly to any machinery issues.
They will carry out planned preventative maintenance on our sites' equipment to ensure it operates safely.
As a Maintenance Technician, they will also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible.
They will make suggestions for long-term improvements.
Working alongside senior colleagues, Maintenance Technicians will perform day-to-day maintenance tasks such as painting and plumbing and liaise with contractors if external expertise is required.
They will work on a variety of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock – allowing efficient delivery at speed.
