SDC Antrim is currently seeking for a Maintenance Technician to support their busy production operation.
Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards including welding rectifiers, wire feed units, robots, assembly jigs, laser cutting machines Provide reactive maintenance to plant equipment as needed i.e.
Troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the factory Fabrication of equipment upgrades Receive support tickets for breakdowns and see them through to completion Ordering of spares Stock taking of spares Communicate with colleagues, external contractors and suppliers to ensure plant equipment uptime Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date Essential Criteria: Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems Ability to read and understand technical drawings To be able to Work at heights Previous experience in a similar role A team player with the ability to work independently Strong attention to detail Health and safety awareness Hours Of Work: 07.00 to 16.00 Mon-Thurs 07.00 to 13.00 Fri No weekends Rights to work in the United Kingdom Applicants for this role must be eligible to work legally in the United Kingdom.
