Occupational Therapist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled occupational therapist to join our team in Claremorris, Co Mayo. Our centre provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic services catering to children of diverse abilities.
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver family-centred therapy conducting assessments and interventions for children and adolescents through personalised and group sessions primarily within clinic settings and occasionally in the community.
* Provide onsite support and supervision for basic grade occupational therapists and long arm supervision to a small number of basic grade therapists remotely.
* Collaborate effectively with the occupational therapy and multidisciplinary teams to plan deliver and enhance professional services.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree or equivalent qualification in occupational therapy validated for practice in Ireland.
* Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience in paediatric occupational therapy including working with children with additional needs such as neurodiverse conditions autism spectrum disorders sensory processing disorders and Down syndrome.
* Ayres Sensory Integration training desirable ADOS/ADIR training desirable but not essential Accredited membership with the AOTI and CORU Registration are essential.
