Job Title – Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer
Project – Residential Project €30M+
Job Location – West Dublin
Salary – €40K - €55K + package
About the Company
My client is keen to chat to Engineers with 1+ years’ experience working with a Main Building Contractor on either commercial or residential projects.
The successful candidate will be working on brand-new projects valued over €30M and to run for 3+ years – with consistent work thereafter in the area.
This is a new role with the company due to steady and consistent growth; another project starting next to this will run for a further 2-3 years.
Applicants must have experience in setting out for a building contractor using total station.
The Role
* Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
* Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
* Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
* Ensure H&S standards are met and adhered to on site.
* Support the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
* A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* 1+ Experience with a Main Contractor in ROI
* Experience setting out for multistorey structures.
* Must have experience dealing with Irish Water
* Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
