Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide technical support to internal and external customers, including architects, engineers, and specifiers. The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales and specification teams to support building system solutions, deliver presentations and technical consultations for projects and specifying bodies, and maintain technical knowledge, including Safety and Building Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert technical guidance to internal and external customers
* Collaborate closely with sales and specification teams
* Deliver engaging presentations and technical consultations
* Utilise advanced tools such as BIM, CAD, U-value calculators, and thermal modelling software
* Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements
* Maintain and enhance technical knowledge
* Manage complex projects and maintain accurate technical documentation
Requirements:
* Relevant construction qualification (Architect, Architectural Technologist, Chartered Surveyor, Engineer)
* 5+ years' experience in technical support within the construction industry
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; Revit experience desirable
* Excellent collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills
