Accounts Assistant Job Opportunity
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day finance tasks and ensuring timely payments, purchase orders, and data entry using Sage 50.
The successful candidate will build supplier relationships, source new suppliers, and prepare monthly reconciliations and reports.
High standards of customer service are expected in this role, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
Key Objectives:
* Manage daily finance activities
* Process sales orders and manage stock
* Build and maintain supplier relationships
* Prepare monthly financial reports
* Support year-end accounts preparation
* Monitor and propose price changes for stock items
* Conduct bi-annual inventory checks
* Liaise with senior staff to resolve payment discrepancies
Additional Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service
* Track orders and process customer returns
* Support shop assistants during busy periods
* Collaborate with leadership on budget and pricing strategies
* Operate within company policies and procedures
