Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant (20 hours per week)
Location: Kells, Co. Meath
Hours: 20 hours weekly (flexible)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance and administration processes. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured accounts work, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and record supplier & customer payments.
* Prepare online banking payments for approval.
* Complete monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
* Maintain Visa card receipts, expenses, and monthly statement reconciliation.
* Assist with bi-monthly VAT preparation.
* Review shipping documents and invoice out all shipments.
* Support supplier account administration, including returns and documentation.
* Provide general admin support to management and assist with audit preparation.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in accounts administration or bookkeeping.
* Strong Excel skills; SAP system experience an advantage.
* Excellent accuracy and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
