The hotel is currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable Reservations Agent to join their professional and highly skilled Reservations team. Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Revenue Manager & Reservations Supervisor, the Reservations Agent will be the first point of contact for our guests. The reservations department at the Knightsbrook Hotel and Golf Resort present must present a friendly and professional manner at all times.
As reservations Agent, you will act as the main point of contact for our guest bookings for bedrooms, restaurant, the Spa and golf course.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage guest reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard.
Provide our guests information on hotel facilities and pricing information.
Upsell other areas of the hotel (Spa, Golf, Restaurant etc)
Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest's stay.
Requirements:
* Must have a professional & friendly approach
* Must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task
* Must have Excellent customer care skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
* Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.
* Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Weekend work Saturday and Sunday, some week day cover necessary.
