Dyno-Rod are looking to add an energetic, outgoing person to our team who is looking for an opportunity to grow their skillset and develop within our business. The proposed role will operate in the Cork area but will also include work in Limerick and other areas to meet the needs of our customers. The Drain Service Operative will be provided with a training and mentorship programme to grow their capabilities and confidence. By developing their skillset, greater opportunities will arise to progress within the Company. The Drain Service Operative will be provided with training in various aspects of our business including:
* Emergency Drain Cleaning
* Use of high pressure water jetting equipment
* Working with Jetting and Suction systems (jetvacs)
* Water Recycling Systems
* CCTV Surveying
* Drain Testing
* Confined Space
* Drain Repairs (Trenchless Techniques and Excavation)
* Grease Traps (Maintenance and Installation)
What the job involves:
The Drain Service Operative will be assigned to assist Senior team members in each of the above service types and will help their colleagues to complete the work safely, professionally and with the highest level of customer service. The work type and works location will vary from day to day and will include travel away from base as the work requires. This will include work for domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
The job involves working as a team to achieve the task at hand and meet team targets. The work is physical and you must be comfortable working outdoors all year round. It will be necessary to use your own initiative and problem solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver solutions to the customer.
You may be required to work outside of normal working hours which will include the on-call emergency rota (following training).
What you must have:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A background in the drainage industry, plumbing or groundworks.
* Full clean drivers licence. Applicants must hold a C Category licence.
* Flexibility in your working hours
* Willingness to work away from base on a regular basis and stay overnight if necessary
* A great customer service attitude.
* A desire to learn and grow your skillset
* Great attention to detail.
* The ability to solve problems as they arise.
* You'll need to be a team player.
* Fluent English (spoken & written).
* Smart appearance.
* Good References.
