Company Profile
DIOMAC is an innovative Irish software company empowering food processors and distributors across Ireland and the UK. We are passionate about revolutionising the industry with our cutting-edge ERP solutions and are excited to welcome a proactive professional to our growing team.
Job Summary
Are you an organised, detail-driven sales support professional with a passion for driving commercial success? As our Business Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating DIOMAC's growth by managing the lead generation process and supporting the Sales Director throughout the entire sales cycle.
This position is focused on sales administration, pipeline development, and nurturing high-quality leads—not on high-volume cold calling. While ERP product knowledge is not required at the outset, we anticipate this role evolving over time, making a business or accounting background highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Actively manage the lead generation process, including researching prospects, initiating contact through email, phone, and professional networking platforms.
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery meetings for the Sales Director.
* Support preparation and delivery of sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
* Maintain and update CRM systems to accurately track leads, communications, and follow-up actions.
* Attend virtual and in-person meetings with the Sales Director, providing support with notes, follow-ups, and action planning.
* Nurture hot leads through ongoing communication until handover for closing.
* Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives and improve lead quality.
* Assist in organising demonstrations and coordinate meeting logistics.
* Provide administrative and organisational support across the sales cycle to ensure a smooth and professional process.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support strategic sales planning.
Must Have Skills and Experience
* 3+ years' experience in a sales support, business development or lead generation role within a B2B environment.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and developing qualified leads.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Competency in preparing sales documents and supporting materials.
* Experience working with CRM systems.
* Comfortable engaging with senior business stakeholders.
* Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently with sales leadership.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Understanding of business processes, ideally with a business or commercial background.
* Exposure to ERP or enterprise software (not required but advantageous for future progression).
* Experience with systems such as HubSpot, JIRA or similar CRM/Project tools.
Why Work with Us?
* Opportunity to shape and grow this evolving role.
* Work within a collaborative, dynamic team supporting ambitious family-run food businesses.
* Dedicated mentorship and ongoing development from the leadership team.
* Comprehensive training to support progression, including future product training.
* Flexibility and autonomy to work remotely from anywhere in Ireland, with occasional travel.
* Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
* Health and pension allowances.
