PE Global is currently recruiting for a Transport Analyst for a leading multi-national manufacturer of construction and mining equipment client based in Larne, Northern Ireland. This is an initial 6 months contract position working on site. The pay rate is £14.79ph PAYE or £20.07 Umbrella Duties of the role/Responsibilities Support the Trade Lane Manager to plan and execute transportation operations for finished products from production centres in EAME to Dealers in region and overseas. Support and initiate continuous improvement ideas or larger transformational initiatives. Review and identify areas for improvement through review of Velocity on our Transportation Lanes. Review and identify areas for improvement through performance management of our carriers. Support the operational performance metrics (velocity, cost, data quality) and work across teams to achieve the targets. Education/Experience Bachelor degree or third level education in Supply chain, business administration (Master is a plus) or equivalant experience in Supply chain, business administration. Prior experience in International transportation ie Ocean (Container/RORO), Road (Truck) and Air. Approx 2 years relevant experience Proficient in English, optional other languages Strong Analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities Strong Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, One Drive, Outlook) Good to Have (PowerPoint, Word) Good to have: Good Working Knowledge of Visio, Power Bi, Power Automate, Salesforce Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
