Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Social Care Manager to lead our team of professionals in providing high-quality care to children and young people. As part of our planned expansion, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization and ensuring the continued delivery of excellent services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader to join our team and contribute to the development of our new centres. You will be responsible for managing a residential home, leading a team of staff, and ensuring that our service users receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* To manage and develop a team of staff to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered to service users
* To lead on the implementation of new policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* To work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
* To contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to meet the changing needs of service users
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior social care management role
* QQI Level 8 in Social Science/Social Studies/Social Care
* Registration with CORU (or in the process of registering)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively at all levels of management and staff
