We are also committed to training and developing our team members and ensuring their journey with us inspires them each day.Duties and Responsibilities of the RoleMeet with prospective and confirmed clients to discuss event requirements, objectives, budgets, themes, and expectations for corporate, social, and private events.Present and recommend available event packages and hotel offerings, tailoring solutions to meet client needs.Provide tours of the hotel's event spaces and facilities, showcasing amenities and capabilities suitable for a range of events.Coordinate with preferred suppliers and vendors including entertainment providers, florists, AV companies, decorators, photographers, and caterers to ensure seamless event delivery.Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring all arrangements and event details are accurately documented.Assist in the full event planning process, including timelines, room layouts, seating plans, catering requirements, and event schedules.Support clients in managing event budgets by providing quotations, cost estimates, and tracking hotel-related expenses.Oversee all aspects of event delivery, coordinating with hotel departments to ensure smooth setup, execution, and breakdown of events.Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any queries throughout the planning process.Coordinate pre-event meetings and briefings to ensure all stakeholders understand event requirements and operational plans.Greet and assist guests during events, providing support and always ensuring a positive guest experience.Collaborate closely with the hotel's events, banqueting, kitchen, and accommodation teams to ensure event spaces are presented to the highest standards.Act as the main point of contact for any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, resolving matters efficiently and professionally.Conduct post-event follow-up with clients to gather feedback, build relationships, and ensure overall satisfaction.Support the achievement of departmental sales targets and contribute to the promotion of the hotel's events offering.Requirements for the rolePrevious experience in event coordination, hospitality, conference & banqueting, or a related role is highly desirable.Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.Creative mindset with an eye for presentation and event styling.Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to manage challenges in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with event schedules.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems/software.Knowledge of current event trends and hospitality industry best practices.A customer-focused approach and genuine passion for creating memorable events and experiences.
