Procurement and Maintenance Lead
Our client, a well-established and expanding company within the timber processing industry is currently seeking a Procurement and Maintenance Lead to join their growing business.
This role is based at their modern processing facility in Co. Cork, and will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
1. Procure mechanical, electrical, and consumable goods to support maintenance and production teams.
2. Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and ensuring timely delivery.
3. Create and manage purchase orders using internal procurement software.
4. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure purchasing requirements are met efficiently.
5. Monitor and verify deliveries, ensuring documentation accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
6. Maintain accurate records and ensure all inventory data is updated and accessible.
7. Perform regular stock checks and ensure stores are well-maintained.
8. Work within a defined purchasing budget and escalate any deviations.
9. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
10. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
12. High level of technical awareness and problem-solving ability.
13. Experience using purchasing or maintenance management systems.
14. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
15. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
16. Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role is essential.
