Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position (The What) We are seeking a seasoned professional with a robust background in Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform. The ideal candidate will possess: Extensive Experience: Over 12 years in technology delivery, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics implementation delivery. Architectural & Implementation Expertise: Proven deep expertise in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture, implementation, and specific modules such as Customer Engagement and Field Service. Leadership & Client Engagement: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing project teams, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills to engage effectively with clients at all organisational levels. Business Acumen & Certifications: A profound understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions, supported by relevant Dynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications. Success in the Role: Performance Outcomes in your first 6-12 months (The What) Within your first 6-12 months, success in this role will be defined by your ability to: Lead Project Delivery: Successfully lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of significant Dynamics 365 and Power Platform projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline. Drive Practice Growth: Actively contribute to pre-sales and business development activities, including scoping engagements, participating in sales presentations, and developing compelling proposals to expand our practice. Mentor & Innovate: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of consultants and developers, while establishing best practices, design patterns, and methodologies for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform projects. Cultivate Client Relationships: Foster strong, trusted advisor relationships with clients by understanding their business challenges and recommending well-considered Dynamics 365 solutions that drive their strategic objectives. What type of work will I be doing? (The How) Your role will involve a dynamic mix of strategic leadership, technical oversight, and client engagement: Project Leadership & Management (40%): Leading and managing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementation projects, including solution design, development, configuration, and testing. This also encompasses managing project budgets, timelines, and resources. Business Development & Pre-Sales (25%): Driving pre-sales activities, scoping engagements, participating in sales presentations, and developing proposals to secure new business. Technical & Team Leadership (20%): Mentoring and providing technical leadership to consultants and developers, establishing best practices, design patterns, and methodologies. Client Advisory & Solution Design (15%): Collaborating with clients to understand their business challenges, reviewing processes, and recommending strategic Dynamics 365 solutions, while fostering strong client relationships.
