Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined professional to join our team as a new business sales representative. The role will consist of providing expert advice on car, home & van insurance new business sales, customer service and administration.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive can-do attitude, be energetic and motivated, with a clear focus on sales and a wish to build their career in this area.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develop effective strategies to overcome objections and close sales
* Chase leads provided by the marketing department
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in line with GDPR guidelines and Compliance
* Issue motor, home and van insurance quotes on both an inbound and outbound basis
* Provide excellent customer service and address any customer queries
* Cross-sell Insurance Products
* Achieve and exceed monthly targets for quotations issued and sales closed
* Set up client accounts and ensure all relevant customer documentation is accurate
* Monitor changes in customer details and update the system accordingly
* Report rate increases to team lead/manager and customer feedback

Requirements:

* CIP, APA Personal General or grandfathered qualification
* At least 2 years' experience in insurance preferably in a brokerage
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
