We need the right person to join our team and collaborate with some of the most prominent brands in Ireland and the UK.About the Role:We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Filmmaker / Editor to join our already industry leading team. Producing high quality video content from concept to final cut with our production team at Simply Studios. You will be responsible for filming, editing, and delivering engaging videos that align with major brands across multiple platforms.Production skillsPlan, direct, and execute video shoots, both in studio and on location.Collaborate closely with producers, clients, and creative teams to ensure alignment on vision and objectives.Make creative decisions and be able to take direction regarding framing, lighting, camera movement, and shot composition.CinematographyOperate cameras, lenses, audio, and lighting equipment and a desire to always improve or experimentMaintain high technical standards for both video and audio capture.Adapt quickly to changing conditions or creative requirements during shoots.Experience filming food is a huge plusPost-Production & EditingEdit video content for multiple platforms, including social mediaStrong skills at colour grading, audio syncing, and clean-up.Integrate graphics, music, and motion elements as needed.Manage revisions and feedback efficiently, consistently meeting deadlinesCreative CollaborationContribute ideas throughout pre-production and post-production phases.Maintain a consistent visual style aligned with brand guidelines.Must-Have QualificationsProven experience as a Shooting Director, Videographer, or Video Editor.Showreel demonstrating both shooting and editing capabilities.Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).Strong colour grading skills.Solid knowledge of cameras, lighting, and audio recording.Strong storytelling, visual composition, time management, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Drivers licence.To ApplyPlease submit your resume and showreel.
