About the role
Reporting to the Production Stream Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team to deliver the Production Stream specific goals using the Kerry Production system.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a 4-cycle shift pattern with 2 days and 2 nights shifts (7AM-7PM days, 7PM-7AM nights).
The role is based in Charleville, Cork.

Key responsibilities
1. Team Management: Lead the Production Stream team, recruiting, onboarding, and developing team skills through assessments, training, feedback, and support.
2. Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and maintaining safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
3. Standard Development & Confirmation: Document, communicate, and ensure adherence to site policies and standards.
4. Continuous Improvement: Facilitate and execute improvements using Practical Problem Solving and KPS methodologies.
5. Labour Optimization: Manage and optimize labour resources, collaborating across site streams to cover essential roles during absences.
6. Process Reliability: Monitor and enhance OEE through the Kerry Asset Management System (KAMS).
7. Performance Analysis: Analyze KPIs to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
8. Quality: Maintain product quality and GMP standards, ensuring compliance with specifications.
9. Project Delivery: Support and manage key projects impacting the Production Stream.
10. Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate shift maintenance activities with engineering teams.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience managing a team in a process environment
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools
* Effective problem-solving skills and proactive improvement planning
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Fluent in English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
